Boy? Or monster?"Why is the new boy locked in the cell at the end of the hall?" an inmate asked the one peeking around the corner, keeping his voice low, so as not to be found in a restricted area.Boy? Or monster?
"They say that," explained the other inmate, "that boy is a monster!"
"A monster?? How?"
"You and I are here only because we know of the secret society we're not supposed to know about right?"
"Yes? Go on "
"Well, that boy was fused with one of their monsters. As an experiment, weapon? Who knows? But it was that very society who did that to him."

My StoryWhen I was little, I was special, said my mom. I had an unusually high IQ, I knew how to pronounce words almost exactly, and I could start a full blown conversation with someone years older than me. I never thought it was weird at all. But then I entered grade school. I made lots of friends and was happy, but I was often discriminated against. I never knew why and stayed up night, after night pondering it. After a while I realized why, twice a day I went to the Special Ed room for classes. And when I came back out, kids would give me a wide berth until my friends showed up.My Story
But, unfortunately for me, that wasn't the worst of it.

“Why are you so orange?”
Jiraiya sat up indignantly. “I have a perfectly natural healthy glow, I’ll have you know. Unlike you.”
Orochimaru rolled his eyes, and turned the page of his book. Realising he’d failed to provoke the other boy, Jiraiya lay back down onto the ground. He watched the sky boredly for a few seconds, before rolling onto his front and observing the blonde girl who was with them. Tsunade was sharpening her kunais with a worrying viciousness.

Falling by DegreesSakura rolled the sleeves of her jumper up and leant further down over the body of the dead – no, not quite dead, she corrected herself – deer, letting the focus of her chakra flow into her hands.Falling by Degrees
Tsunade had pushed her out of the training room they usually worked in that morning and had ushered her forcibly along the corridor, telling her to go home and get something warmer to wear. Sakura had complied and met her teacher as instructed, by the rapids of the river that ran past Konoha. Shivering in the cold, she had followed Tsunade a little way from the path, slipping on patches of ice still lingering from the morning’s frost.

AM, though it didn’t say that. the dark outside his windows was proof enough. He didn’t have blinds in his flat. There hadn’t been any when he first moved in and somehow he’d never got round to getting any. He didn’t know what to choose anyway. Now he liked being woken up by the dawnlight. He liked it in the night as well. Of the few things he did like and the many he didn’t, the view at night from the balcony of this apartment fell into the former category.
